Dr. Nate Henderson was born in Alabama and raised in North Carolina. He attended King University in Bristol, Tennessee, graduating summa cum laude with a double major in Biology and Chemistry in 2001. After teaching and coaching high school students for two years, he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received the National Student Implant Award from the Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and graduated with honors in 2007, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). He pursues extensive continuing education and leverages the latest dental technology to provide the most advanced care possible.
Dr. Henderson has been married to his wife Katie since 2001 and they have three children. They moved to Chattanooga in 2007 and love being here. Dr. H enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, serving in their church, visiting the wonderful outdoors of Chattanooga, microfarming, and watching UNC Tarheel Basketball.
Dr. Sean Fitzhugh, DDS, hails from Memphis, where his passion for dentistry was ignited by his father and brother, both practicing dentists. At Harrison Family Dentistry, this family tie allows for collaborative patient care and innovative treatment strategies.
Sean graduated from Christian Brothers High School and pursued higher education at the University of Alabama, followed by the University of Memphis, earning a Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude. He later obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. To further his skills, Sean completed advanced training at Spartanburg Regional-The Foundry in Bessemer, Alabama, specializing in IV sedation, dental implants, surgical extractions, bone grafting, and comprehensive oral rehabilitation.
In his personal time, Sean loves exploring the outdoors and enjoying Chattanooga’s local dining scene with loved ones. He looks forward to connecting with new patients, especially those with dental anxieties, using his expertise to provide gentle, effective care.
